Music Studio—Brattleboro, VT

The summer '08 project. We began by demolishing a 7 by 12 ft chicken coop which was in a moderate state of decay. The goal of this project was to reuse as much material as possible (as you will see from the pictures). Nearly all lumber has been either salvaged or harvested locally and we ended up with a 70:30 ratio of used:new materials. This 16 by 12 ft building is now in use as a personal music studio.
